CQM Implementation Methodology
Some of the steps followed in the implementation of a EMS are-
  • Framing a Environmental Policy.
  • Determining the parameters involved in the Organizations Processes, Products and Services that can create environmental impact. Nature and intensity of impact.
  • Determine the applicable Statutory and Regulatory requirements and other requirements, to which the organization subscribes.
  • Determine the severity of the requirements and set environmental objectives. Identify priorities and set appropriate environmental objectives and targets.
  • Establish a programme, with provision of adequate resources and specific action plan to achieve the objectives.
  • Establish a Structure and a Programme(s) to implement the policy and achieve objectives and meet targets.
  • Establishing the processes to attain the desired state of the parameters identified.
  • Reviewing, Monitoring, Measuring and Improving the processes and the targets.
